Jokowi Hopes DPRD to Support City Programs

I think the new DPRD members will give more support to Jakarta government

Jakarta Governor, Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo hopes Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD) period 2014-2019 are able to cooperate with Jakarta Provincial Government well. By so,  Jokowi hopes all programs can be implemented.

"I think the new DPRD members will give more support to Jakarta government," said Jokowi, at City Hall, Monday (8/25).

He added, all this time, some programs has been ongoing, such as flat construction for citizens affected by normalization project. It is also deemed able to overcome flooding in the capital.

"At this time, we need speed and accuracy in completing our program. It has been ongoing now, like flat construction for people living around Ciliwung River, Kampung Pulo, Pluit Dam, Ria Rio Dam. Perhaps, it would be realized in the upcoming September," he stated.
